Marusenko Sphere is a 3D puzzle that can be considered as an extension of the classic magic cube 2×2×2.

The sphere is divided into eight parts by three perpendicular cuts and moves exactly as a 2x2 cube. This puzzle features 24 pieces or triangles arranged in 6 circular faces and 8 starred faces, adding up 32 moving parts. Each octant has three pieces of this type, in three different faces.

The puzzle does not use any kind of adhesive or any type of metallic auxiliary element such as screws, washers or springs for the assembling of each one of its 54 components of high quality (100% recyclable) plastic material.

This puzzle was invented by Alexandr Marusenko and it is currently manufactured in Spain from the end of 2010.
